01 The Trip

Self-guided access, remote & supported.

Experience a true West Coast outdoorsman trip with self-guided hunting access along the remote North Coast of British Columbia. Oots'n Reconnection Services Inc. provides pick-up, drop-off, accommodations, and coastal access support, while hunters remain responsible for planning and carrying out their own hunt.

This trip is designed for capable, self-reliant hunters looking to reach remote shoreline and coastal hunting areas that are difficult to access on their own. Focus on building your hunt plan while we assist with transportation logistics, onboard lodging, catering support, and safe shore access where conditions allow.

Beyond the hunt, the North Coast offers rugged coastal scenery, wildlife viewing, and opportunities for prawning and crabbing when available — a practical, remote-access option for hunters who want a self-guided coastal adventure supported by local knowledge and vessel-based logistics.

What might I hunt?
The North Coast offers opportunities for blacktail deer, ducks, mallards, Canada goose, and wolf, subject to seasons, licensing, and regulations.
Where do we stay?
Guests stay aboard the vessel during the trip. Between flights or travel, the Kingfisher Retreat — an entire 2-bedroom heritage home in central Prince Rupert, operated through Airbnb — is offered as a convenience stay when available. Early booking allows for a smooth shore-to-ship experience.
What's the cancellation policy?
Should you need to cancel your booking, your deposit will be non-refundable. However, you can transfer your deposit to another available date at the discretion of the outfitter. The outfitter will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable alternative date, but rescheduling is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
